statuje e pafajësisë!
Dëshmi e egoizmit të kësaj bote mizore.
Sa herë ta mbyllen derën, sikur të ishe armiku, era.
Përcilli mbi kurrizin tënd, hidhërimin e dimrave, dufin e shirave të vjeshtërave, përdëllimin e zhegut te verës.
Të dridhurat, lëngimet, psherëtimat e tua,
m'i jep t'i bej vargje,
t'i lë për kohën si dëshmi.
Se në kohën tonë.
Strehohet një qen,
dhe lihet në rrugë një njeri.
Qëndro aty!
Statuje e pafajshme e varfërisë.
Teksa në anën tjetër të trotuarit,
vallëzon luksi, mbi makinat luksoze, kostumet e shtrenjta, bizhutë e shndritshme, tatuazhet.
Qëndro aty!
Derisa të bëhesh hero.
Derisa të bëhesh dritë.
Se ndoshta pas teje,
kësaj bote të verbër i vijnë sytë.

statue of innocence!
Evidence of the selfishness of this cruel world.
