The point has previously been made in many academic studies that media and poetry are recognised as the salient aspect of culture and, of course, the culture is a significant aspect of identity. From my point of view and from my long experience in Albanian media I found that identity could also be seen to be constructed through social interactions and political and cultural interests (and therefore is classless and shifting), rather than being a fixed entity. For example, in considering the involvers within media and poetry, the following questions need to be addressed: 1. Who are they? 2. How do they see themselves? 3. How do they see each other? 4. Are there any discrepancies between how they perceive themselves and how they are perceived by another party or other parties in the interaction? With these authors I have tried to identify the importance of knowledge as the window for Albanian poetry.
