QË MË BËRI DY OPERACIONET E TRASPLANTIT TË ZEMRËS
Ishte fat për mua që brenda 10 muaj më bëri dy operacione trasplanti mjeku kirurg David A. D’Alessandro, i cili ishte Profesor, drejtor Klinike Kardiovaskulare dhe Kirurgjisë, drejtor kirurgjikale i Programit Zemra e Transplantit Montefiore-së. Nju Jork,sepse pak më vonë u trasferuar në spitalin e Bostonit.
Me buzëqeshje më priti në operacionin e parë, me buzëqeshje më dha optimizëm edhe në operacionin e dytë të transplantit të zemrës. Nuk e përshkruaj saktë buzëqeshjen e tij, por ajo më forcoi optimizmin për ta përballuar operacionin me guxim e shpresë jete Me përkthyes kirurgu kardiolog David A. D’Alessandro u prezantua se do të kryente operacionin e pare më 14 gusht 2013. Me fytyrë të qeshur, me shumë dashamirësi humane vendosi dorën e tij ledhatuese mbi kokën time të trishtuar që kishte qëndruar në jastëk tre muaj nëpër spitale. Buzëqeshja e tij si drita e diellit më dha kurajo e forcë shpirtërore. Edhe pse isha shqiptar vëmendja e përkushtimi tij ishte maksimal. Bisedoi me mua se do më bënin operacion për të vendosur aparaturat elektronike në barkushen e majtë me ushqim elektrik jashtë trupit tim. Kur më tregoi aparaturat, u hutova, m’u dukën të mëdha, por e falënderova që do më operonte e firmosa dokumentet e pranimit të operacionit.
Mjeku kirurg duke buzëqeshur më tha: «Ky operacion do jetë një zgjidhje e përkohshme, më vonë do të bëjmë transplantin e zemrës, do të vendosim një zemër të re.» Mjeku kirurg David A. D Alessandro çdo ditë më vizitonte duke u treguar shumë i dashur. U përmirësova shpejtë, por kisha problem grumbullimin e ujit në këmbë e mushkri, për shkak se barkushja e djathtë funksiononte me 20% të kapacitetit të saj dhe nuk bënte furnizimin me gjak të veshkave. Në këto momente të vështira ku mushkëria më mbushej me ujë, isha bërë pesimist, por mjeku David më jepte kurajë se do të përmirësohesha e do më bënte operacionin tjetër të transplantit. Mjeku kirurg David A. D’Alelssandro me shumë dashamirësi u interesua që të shkruhesha në listën e transplantit të spitalit, duke u testuar. Pas dhjetë muajve të operacionit të parë, më 29 maj 2014 erdhi radha e operacionit të transplantit zemrës Mjeku David A. D’Alesandro më priti me shumë ngrohtësi duke më sqaruar se si do të bëhej operacioni. Ai më tregoi se operacioni dytë do jetë më i vështirë se operacioni parë, por do të realizohej me sukses. Aty mësova se zemra do të vinte nga Florida pas gjashtë orëve. Natën kishin filluar operacionin e transplantit.
Mjeku David A. D’Alessandro me talentin e tij realizoi me sukses funksionimin e zemrës. Pas një jave pas operacionit zemra e re kishte filluar të punonte me një kapacitet mesatar. Kur u zgjova pashë me trishtim trupin tim me shumë plagë e tubacione. Më dridheshin duart e kisha çrregullime psikike. Nuk flisja dot nga tubacionet që dilnin nga goja e kraharori. Në ato momente trishtuese tek dhoma e reanimacionit vinte shpesh mjeku David A. D’Alessandro duke buzëqeshur më jepte kurajë e shpresë për të jetuar. Me shumë dashamirësi më ndihmonte të ngrihesha nga shtrati për të bërë ecjen e parë. Kur pa që isha dëmtuar nga tubacionet e shtrënguara fort mbi gojë, i ngriu buzëqeshja e me indinjatë bisedoi me personelin e shërbimit mjekësor. Gjatë një muaji qëndrimi në spital kisha kujdesin humanitar të mjekut të talentuar që realizoi me suksese të dy operacionet e vështira të zemrës.
Pas daljes nga spitali lexova në internet informacione për ecurinë e punës të mjekut David A D’Alessandro, ku midis të tjerash thuhet : David A. D’Alessandro është Profesor, drejtor Klinike Kardiovaskulare dhe Kirurgjisë, Ai është drejtor kirurgjikale i Programit Zemra e Transplantit Montefiore-së.
Fokusi klinik i David A. D’Alessandro ka qenë në trajtimet kirurgjikale të zemrës, fazë duke përfshirë asistencën mekanike dhe transplantim të zemrës. Sigurisht kam qenë me fat që më ka operuar mjeku talentuar David A D’Alessandro. Falënderoj përzemërsisht me shumë mirënjohje mjekun David A D’Alessandro dhe kolegët e tij mjekët amerikanë, të cilët bënë gjithçka për të më risjell jetën, që me përkushtim e dashuri njerëzore u kujdesën për jetën time. Mirënjohje pafund, për sigurimet shëndetësore amerikane, të cilat kanë përballuar shpenzimet e shumta financiare, duke më bërë dy operacione falas. Amerika është Dielli i Lirisë, i Demokracisë me intelektualë të talentuar e të përkushtuar. Shërbimi mjekësor në këtë vend të bekuar është cilësor e me shumë dashamirësi të frymëzojnë për jetën. Mirënjohja ime është pa kufi që më rilindën jetën.

ACKNOWLEDGMENTS TO THE SURGEON DOCTOR DAVID A. D’ALESSANDRO,
THAT MADE MY TWO HEART TRANSPLANT OPERATIONS
It was fortunate for me that within 10 months I had two transplant surgeries by surgeon David A. D’Alessandro, who was Professor, Director of Cardiovascular Clinic and Surgery, surgical director of Montefiore Heart Transplant Program. New York, because a little later he was transferred to Boston Hospital.
With a smile he received me in the first operation, with a smile he gave me optimism in the second heart transplant operation as well. I do not accurately describe his smile, but it strengthened my optimism to face the operation with courage and hope of life. Translator Cardiologist David A. I recovered quickly, but had trouble collecting water in my legs and lungs, because my right abdomen was functioning at 20% of its capacity and was not supplying blood to the kidneys.
In these difficult moments when my lungs were filling with water, I had become pessimistic, but Dr. David gave me the courage to improve and perform the next transplant operation. Surgeon David A. D’Alelssandro was very kindly interested in me being inscribed on the hospital transplant list, being tested. After ten months of the first operation, on May 29, 2014, it was the turn of the heart transplant doctor Dr. David A. D’Alesandro received me very warmly, explaining to me how the operation would be performed. He told me that the second operation would be more difficult than the first operation, but would be carried out successfully. There I learned that the heart would come from Florida after six hours. At night the transplant operation had begun.
Dr. David A. D’Alessandro with his talent successfully realized the functioning of the heart. One week after surgery the young heart had begun to work at a moderate capacity. When I woke up I saw sadly my body with many wounds and tubes. My hands were shaking and I had mental disorders. I could not speak from the pipes coming out of my mouth and chest. In those sad moments, Dr. David A. D’Alessandro often came to the intensive care unit, smiling and giving me courage and hope to live. He very kindly helped me get out of bed to do the first walk. When he saw that I was damaged by the pipes tightly pressed against his mouth, his smile froze and he spoke angrily to the medical staff. During a month in the hospital I had the humanitarian care of a talented doctor who successfully performed both difficult heart surgeries.
After leaving the hospital I read online information about the progress of the work of Dr. David A D'Alessandro, where among other things it says: David A. D'Alessandro is Professor, Director of Cardiovascular Clinic and Surgery, He is the surgical director of the Heart Transplant Program Montefiore's.
David A. D’Alessandro's clinical focus has been on heart surgical treatments, stage including mechanical assistance and heart transplant. I was certainly lucky to be operated on by the talented doctor David A D’Alessandro. I cordially thank Dr. David A D’Alessandro and his fellow American physicians, who did their best to bring me back to life, who cared for my life with human devotion and love. Endless gratitude, for American health insurance, which have borne the brunt of many financial expenses, giving me two free surgeries. America is the Sun of Freedom, of Democracy with talented and dedicated intellectuals. Medical service in this blessed land is quality and very kind to inspire for life. My gratitude is boundless that they reborn my life.
